Good video, but I will add that I have seen a lot of Samsung refrigerators fail from the factory due to stuff like copper shavings in the line. Even if they git rid of all the electronics, they have fundamental problems as a company and I will never trust or buy any of their products

My Samsung fench door refrigerator's through the door ice machine (room) started icing over just after the warranty expired. Sealed the room and literally replaced everything. I have to defrost it every 6-8 weeks with a hair dryer. Not buying another Samsung appliance again. Not buying a through the door ice dispensing french door refrig again. Just google or search youtube for "<your brand> french door ice maker" and enjoy a weekend of 'entertainment'.

I was looking into energy costs today to run this unit compared to a regular washer dryer set. I found the energy use with this unit is 400 kW plus per hour and a yearly cost. They stated $13 a year.. I found a cost between the 240 as the dryer would run a quarter at the time you're savings is minimal

As a previous Traeger user, I switched to Asmoke and I couldn't be happier. The precision of the temperature control on Asmoke really impressed me, the FlameTech patent ensures temperature control within 5°F and the remote temperature adjustment and food temperature monitoring made grilling a breeze. But what really made Asmoke stand out to me was the portability. The rechargeable battery offers up to 10 hours of runtime which makes it perfect for outings. I've used it on camping trips and tailgating events and it's been a game-changer. And the fact that the pellets come in various flavors adds an extra layer of deliciousness to my food. The transition to Asmoke has truly changed my grilling experience and I can't recommend it enough. #Asmoke

2:12 The bowls are touching! I could never have them like that! My bonus tip: Make sure your detergent dispenser thingy is dry when you put the detergent pod/capsule/whatever in it. If there's liquid in there, the detrergent will start to melt before the dispenser opens and it might get stuck and not fall out. P.S. The reason you don't rinse the dishes is to save water! Rinsing easily doubles the amount of water used in the process.

I'm going to add my 2 cents. I am an agitator -> impeller convert. I've never looked back. I LOVE MY Maytag Top Loader (no mess to clean, no mold build-up, no washer filter to clean with top loaders). I've heard that the front loaders are all that in their "cleaning power". Frankly, that's a matter of opinion. In Europe and Greece, all my aunts have front/side loaders. They have no choice. I LOVE my top loader with an impeller. With automatic water sensing, I throw my pod(s) in, toss my clothes in, close the lid, and pick a cycle (occasionally I alter the water temp). Done and done. Never had a cleaning issue with it in 20 years of using one. For those that can't live without an agitator, there's a washer that you can optionally place the agitator in on demand in the tub (quick connect). All said and done today's detergents are not of those 30 years ago. Laundry detergents are highly effective in ALL water temperatures (as a matter of fact most laundry detergent makers tout cold as the choice of temperature). They don't need as much agitation as they used to. Detergents now break down stains without an agitator to stir the pot. As far as the pods, absolutely LOVE them. Premeasured so you're not using too little, or too much in a load. Gone are the days of lugging around a 5-gallon detergent jug (I know they still exist). I'll give Blake credit that pods may not be the "thing" for side loaders as mechanically they are different in how they dispense the washing liquid and wash. For that, I would defer to Blake's suggestion of using a liquid. It boils down to preference. Happy washing!

Unbelievable! Recommendations are all non-starters based upon each product offered including an indoor ice maker and water dispensing installed in a door. Totally contrary to your own sites recommendation on selecting more reliable products from these same manufacturers. Perhaps, a play to sell extended warranties with these specific models. I don't get it.

My gas stove is such a pain to clean. I have to 1. take off the heavy grills and spray with Dawn and use steel wool to scrub and it never looks completly clean. 2. Try to get all the crumbs and grease out of the nooks and crannies (pain I ht neck). This takes a good 15 to 20 minutes. (but I don't always do step 1). Compare this with a flat range that takes less than 60 seconds to wipe down. WHY would anyone prefer gas??? Now I read articles saying it bad for health. Hate it!!

Fourth year, that sensor failed again, replaced at usd200. 6th years same sensor replaced at usd200, fail to detect twindos detergent container. 7th years the twindos pump fitting broke and the detergent triggered the flood sensor (I diy the fitting from original plastic to stainless steel). 8th years, main board shorted, usd 400 to replace. 10th years, the washer won’t turn on. I love my Miele.

LG should not have made it to the top 3. They are made to look high-end, but underneath and hidden from view are plastic parts for critical components, For example, the valves - it is one piece for hot and cold and it is made of plastic. Cold water is not a problem for plastic valves, but hot waster is. There is also the problem with LG washers during spin cycle when they are "off balance" - they will restart the cycle by filling the tank, then spin again and will keep doing this until by luck the clothes balances. This means it could do this ad infinitum. I found this out one day when I returned home at noon after having started the washer at 8 AM. It was still going and by luck I had arrived home just as it kicked off another attempt by filling the tank up and restart the drain/spin cycle. I even saw the time go from 11 minutes back to 17 minutes. What idiots designed this and they actually dared to advertise that their washers are energy efficient and saves water. I hear the same thing applies to Samsung washers.

We are on our 6th fridge since we moved in to a new doublewide 23 years ago. After the first 4, I checked the plug and found 120 volts at the receptacle but when I plugged in a heat gun, turned it on high, the voltage dropped to 60 volts, which I was told would burn out compressors in a short time. I was also told a fridge should have a dedicated receptacle, which also wired in and double checked the voltage. We had our last failure yesterday,a beko one month past the warranty. Unfortunately,we bought an LG that is made in Vietnam today. Absolutely disgusted!

The hime we purchased came with a Maytag washer and dryer. The washer was your standard unit and did not do a great job. We purchased GE Profile washer (impeller)/and dryer to replace. They both do a good job. If you need more water in the impeller unit, you can set this up at the start. The washer does a very good job for us and, I would nit hesitate to buy again. That's an insane condition to have, given that small retailers can't get the same prices from manufacturers that big box stores have, since they depend on volume of product sold. You're basically saying that you would only support local businesses if they agreed to subsidise your shopping.

LG agitator is designed to move the water through the fabric not like the old days when the clothes were surged through the water up and down the tub. My daughter has a new LG that is a piece of junk. It may last five years as there are only two of them. The operators manual is also skimpy on details of operation. Cycles are long as the washer just sits or the tub just whirls around. Clothes on the outside tub just sit with no roll over. As far as fabric life, the average consumer will never notice the difference between any type of washer. Clothes are made cheap, kids will out grow or ruin the clothes before the washer will. For reference, in the old days , a high quality American made cotton shirt would last through 50 washings and wearings. I am a 45 year veteran of the laundry industry. Buy a Speed Queen if you value your time, want clean fabrics, and no repair bills. Get the one with the high agitation.
